This rider won the “Worst Saddle Award” on her guided European tour for apparent reasons. She’s clearly loved this saddle for many many miles and it’s no longer produced! Fortunately we found her a fresh saddle that fits even better than her worn out one. Thanks @sellesmpofficial!
One of our triathlon fittees is an incredible professional baker! She makes cupcakes every year for the PeasantMan triathlon in DC, and she made this incredible cake for the event! Look at the details!! I love the racer on the ledge dropping a cupcake down to the runner😂😂 She’s local in Seattle now btw if you have any baking needs like an incredibly creative cake for an event or special day! Check out her other awesome creations here: http://facebook.com/gottegrisbakery
You’re locked in to your pedals, which are a set distance from your bike. But what if you have a natural stance that’s wider than the pedals? You’re body is trying to do its natural thing, but you’re pedals pull you in on the downstroke; this causes addition lateral stress to your knee and affects how much power you are able to throw into the pedal. These 20mm spacers helped this bike match the wider stance of the rider, so he can ride knee-injury-free and get more power as he pedals!
And you eagle eyes maynotice this ex-marine’s water bottle says “I’m a Princess” 👸 hey, marine’s need to stay hydrated too, they may as well do it like royalty. @therealbikefit
Asma here is on an incredible journey; in a few short weeks she’ll be joining a group with World Relief Seattle in biking across Washington State to bring awareness and support to refugees. She just got on her first bike as an adult in February but is raring to go for her cause! Support her fundraiser which will go towards education and camps for refugee youth! Gotta love that sweat/dirt spiral on well-used bartape.... or not.
Nothing like super fresh, slick looking bar tape to give your bike a facelift. @supacaz @supacazdirect #bikefit #velopez
Take care of your tush, find the right one.
The saddle is a significant contact point between rider and bike, and finding a saddle that provides a solid foundation for your sitbones is critical. But how do you know what saddles fit? We measure sitbone width with our Assometer, and try a number of saddles that match that width until we find one that fits your body perfectly, so you can ride for hours and hours with no pain or numbness from your saddle.
Thanks to our model Bony McGee for sitting for this shoot.

This rider hunted for a saddle that didn’t cause too much pressure on the sitbones and perineum. He found a saddle that doesn’t even contact those points. This crazy looking saddle is highly reviewed by riders of the Race Across America, and if anyone knows sitting in a saddle for a looooong time, it’s them. We got to test this one out and we’re shocked at how supportive it feels even with most of the saddle apparently missing! Worth a try if you’re having saddle pressure issues. @infinitybikeseat #bikefit #velopezseattle
